  • Contributions in the field of biomacromolecules structure using high sensitive methods and techniques
  • Conformational changes of proteins (ovalbumin, cytochrome c, albumin, hemoglobin, fibrinogen, hyaluronic acid) in different environments, upon adsorption to silver/gold nanostructures studied by vibrational spectroscopy (FTIR, FT Raman, Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy) and EPR spectroscopy combined with spin labeled techniques.
  • Contributions in the field of nanostructured biomaterials production and applications.
  • Structural investigations of biocomposites for radiotherapy and hyperthermia by DTA, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance, XRD, XPS, FTIR and FT Raman spectroscopy.
  • Bioactivity and biocompatibility investigations on bone cements and bioceramics for dental and orthopedic applications, in vitro and in vivo tests – animal model.
